Hello

I bought your MP4 player and it worked fine until today.

The problem i have today is that the scale of the sound is blocked to 0. Pushing on the central button makes the scale appear but i cannot change it and it stays on 0.
Nevertheless, when i play a song, i hear the sound ... until i push on the central button. Then, i have no sound anymore ... until i skip to the next song.

Today, i made 2 unusual things related with the player:
1: I browse the menu to see all the possible settings. While doing this, i put the language in chinese. Going back to the english was not so easy and maybe i change a setting without knowing it (it was in chinese at this time).
If so, what could be this setting ?

2: I bought an Ipod station (from Memorex) to listen to my player.
It was working quite well but now i have this problem.
Is there a link with the problem i have now ?

Thanks for an answer.

Hello

I don't have many info on my MP4 player.

Here is the link to the web page where i bought it (there is a complete description of the product):
http://www.jsmdistribution.co.uk/mp4-players-8gb/8gb-mp4-player-pink-free-p-p-/prod_208.html

The firmware is:
2008/09/30
9.5.54
QS_AK2027
2009/09/01

I am sorry to say that i have never heard of this before - I would suggest sending it back to the seller and asking for assistance.

It certainly sounds like you have changed a setting but, beyond that, I am unable to assist.

Hello

What are the settings which could have an impact on the volume ?

I don't see a setting to block the scale of the volume at a specific level.

Hello

I've found the solution.

I throwed in the garbage this chinese MP4 player looking like an Apple Ipod Nano.
I just bought the real Apple Ipod Nano.

Thank you for helping me .... :(

You have just shown, on a public forum that you have more money than sense.

We DID help you - we told you to send it back to the seller and ask them for assistance - the fact that you chose to ignore it is your choice.

These are not our Mp4 players - we simply host instructions for the device which is available from hundreds of sources and offer assistance where we can.

If you can't be grateful, at least try not to make yourself look stupid.
