John Hartson - CANCER

Looks like the big man has a fight on his hands. Testicular cancer was only discovered when he was suffering severe headaches and it was found he had cancer of the brain which is secondary to the testicular cancer.

Went through emergency surgery today only to discover it is in his lungs too.

If he fights this with as much gusto as he played foootball, he might have a chance - my hopes and prayers are with him and his family.

never really took to the guy but from what I have seen of him after his football career ended, he has always struck me as a decent fella.

No matter, its a shame for anyone having to deal with crap like this - hope it workls out for him although it doesn't look good.

Just a wee update, I was reading the big yen was home with his family, though still recieving treatment..
