KA08 wap and mms settings

Hi I have just purchased a KA08 but i cannot get mms or browser to work. I have both vodafone and o2 payg uk sims inserted in the phone. I tried to call o2 but they blatently dont want to help. I was wondering if someone would be able to forward me the settings.

Hi baldy - welcome to the forums - assistance will be along soon. this is a common problem but we have the solution in the form of - the LEGEND, the ONE, the ONLY - MODCOP !!!!!!

Seriously though, he isn't around at this moment but I am sure he will be able to sort you out soon. the solution is very straightforward (to MODCOP anyway).

yep he sorted mine out 2 days ago within a couple of hours just send him a p.m with what network where it payg or contract and your p.number and he'll send you the txt with @ll your settings just open and install and it works !
he also sorted out my i68+ ( much better than the kao8 as its bigger ) lol

MODCOP sorted out my mms and wap in 30 seconds.....SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!! thnx to orange for being so USELESS i was told it just couldnt be done 6 weeks ive been trying and 1 text from MODCOP and all fine so once again many many thnx from me and my mum.............

Thanks to modcop we got there in the end. For some reason the settings wouldnt take effect so i removed sims and battery left the phone for a day and then suddenly the settings worked. Im gonna try and find some web sites with games and applications that work on phones such as ka08 if anyone is interested when i find some i will post links to the sites on the forum.

yes thanks Baldy, Id be intrested in anything you find out about the KA08. Just just bought mine off ebay and cant get the internet to work on it, it says I have the wrong I.P. Address. Im on Vodafone pay as you go. Hopefully if Madcop can help me I will be happy to post my findings to you all on this site.

Sorry for the edit, but I really wish, it just gives me more work as need to get people to reset the data accounts and have the correct settings sent to them for the phone.

Hi all, seems to be a recurring theme mms settings, my new i68+ does everything but picture messaging after getting Orange to switch it on.
I followed the settings on Orange site but no go! Is it possible for a repeat procedure?

i have just bought a Ka08 and cant get the wap settings, i am using a virgin mobile sim card. I cant seem to get on to the browser however does recieve calls and messages, help please

Can anyone help i have brought a KA08 which i use a vodafone sim card but i cannot seem to access the internet for MMS everything else works fine accept them, i have found a couple of other forums on the net that tell you how to set up the internet settings but still no joy as some of the descriptions on the forums aint really that clear.

MODCOP is no longer with us Woody but KA08 settings are usually pretty easy to set - it has the same settings as a NOKIA 2610 so, if you ask your network provider to send you the settings of that phone, all will be fine.

I see Modcop is no longer here but can any one help me I have tried for days to get the MMS & WAP working to no avail & O2 are no help at all!

hi just wondering if someone could help me please, iv got an ka08 and iv tried so hard to get it working with out having to ask for help, i tried getting o2 to send me the nokia settings but they cant, dont know why but they wont! and the web site for settings dont work either,i also tried putting in the setting manualy but i can only find the mms settings and i cant find the data account settings to edit the gprs, if someone could point me in the right direction it would be nice,
