Hi..I am new to forum and have just bought a KA08 - seems pretty good overall. I am not able to get bluetooth to work - any ideas anyone?
Also can i get mms /www set-ups from anywhere? - Adsa 7 Vodafone

Hi George, yes you can have the settings sent to you.

Can you give a little more info about the bluetooth?

What is the actual fault?

HI...ka08 shows bluetooth icon as active. But refuses to find other bluetooth devices in range. Other devices also refuse to see KA08 device. Other devices are: Nokia N95 & PC & printer

Is the device set to be visable to all other devices?

Sure is. Have also tried with a motorola headset - still no joy

im having the same problem. it keesp on sayiong bluetooth intalising and its not going any further. can some help me to set up blue tooth

Hi all.....Decided phone had hardware problem & returned to seller. Has now been replaced with an N8 ? seems to be similiar & all bits seem to work!

KA08 has become too popular for its own good - the price has been driven down by fierce competition at the factory end and they are starting to produce them with cheaper materials and are taking shortcuts too.

Its a real shame as the KA08 could have been a great phone for so much longer. N8 is much better - even better still is the KA08+ which is coming in at the price the KA08 was around 6 weeks ago

Hi Guys,
Just got an N8 as a replacement for a faulty KA08. All seems well but as this phone does not have java support I need to get email working via the web browser - any ideas?

I have a KA08 for 3 days now and though i'm not disappointed yet, i've been having problems...first i can't seem to put bluetooth working since i don't know the password they're always asking for!

Second i don't know how to install gprs, mms and java for the portuguese networks vodafone and tmn.
And i needed to know if it's possible to have msn in the phone and how can i do it?

The password is 1122 - it does say that in the manual if you have one.

Tell your network that you have a Nokia 2610 and ask them to send the wap / mms settings "over the air". They should be able to send them by text direct to your phone.

It is not possible to have MSN on this phone.
