Hi,
I just recently got my KA08 to replace my broken phone. So far I like it, and think I've figured out most things but it definitely has some character flaws I was wondering if anyone would know how to fix.

1) I figured out how to put some homemade ringtones on it, via an SD card. I have about 6 ringtones I want to use for my core group of friends, but it seems that it only holds 4 extra ringtones besides the crappy ones that came with the phone. Is there any way to add more than 4, like deleting the ringtones that came with the phone? Or am I doing something wrong when adding the songs to the ringtones list?

2) Is there a faster way to get to your contacts list, or do you always have to go through the search function?

3) Is there anyway to turn off the unlocking/slide sound? I read somewhere on here a way to do it by tinkering with the Meeting profile and then it will effect the General profile's sound, but that didn't work for me. I could keep it on Meeting all the time I suppose, but I would like to be able to switch from silent to ringing when I go in and out of class.

4) Is there Any way to go from Abc mode to 123 mode while texting, Without having to filter through all the other languages to get back to Abc mode? I'm primarily a texter, not much of a talker, and that's the Only issue I have with the texting. I can hit the keys on the keyboard with little to no errors, I just hate having to filter through all the languages just to say "we're meeting at 5:30." or something.

5) I don't plan on using the phone to access the internet as I don't have a data plan and I could use my iPod touch if I really wanted mobile internet. But I have heard people talking about having Opera on the phone, and something about firmware. I'm not exactly technologically illiterate here, but what exactly is the firmware and why/how would you change it, and how does it allow you to put Opera on the phone?

Those are pretty much all the issues I'm having, other than that I think it's a great phone for the price and I really love the size of it. So if anyone can help me with any of those issues above I'd be completely set with this phone.

Thanks,
Wendy
