Charger and battery problem with A07

I have had this email from a customer who recently pruchased a A07 -

hi i have a problem with the charger that came with the phone i received from you when charging the green charger light flickers as if there is not a very good conection also i have to charge the phone every day is this normal if you could please let me know your thoughts many thanks

As i have never seen this phone charging i am unsure if this is right?? Also is this battery life normal??

Hi James, certainly the battery life is quite normal for a touch screen phone especially if the features of the phone are used rather than just being a phone if you know what I mean.

Modcop will be better placed to advise on the flickering light but it sounds like a loose connection.

Yes i know what you mean, so if only used for calls then it should last longer than a day! Ok will wait and see what Modcop says.

Hey guys much needed time off today, aahh feels good.

Anyway back to the point or on to it lol..

Okdoky, fistly the battery on these sorry to say will not last longer than a day even when only calling (thats why you get 2 of the to be honest) as you are using the touchsreen to call, also the touchscreen is more advanced (well differant) than the iphone and mainstream touchscreen as they are all heat sensative so will only work with fingers with a heat source therefore using less battery, thus the china phone touchscreen are as they say true touchscreen, as you can use a stylus or your finger, the downside is less battery life.

Also the processors used on the all the chineas phones are differant, without getting to techy on you the processors do not work directly with the eeprom, therefore they actually process better and faster for the amount of applications in there.

So a day is not too bad allways a good idea to charge up the spare to take out with you.

Regarding the charging light flickering, this is really very normal and nothing to worry about.
Reason being it is charging through the usb connector and does not give a constant flow of power, it's more ac power than we are used to, but completely normal, the phone will charge just fine.
I have just been through a box of 50 and every one when charge testing flickers, it's just the light telling you when power is being sent through the cable.

So to sum up, the battery life being 1 day is fine and the ficker is normal also, just tell your buyer to make sure the usb is pushed in all the way and it is just the phones brain flickering when it gets power on the Alternating Current of the USB cable plugged into the charging plug.

Thanks Modcop, that was just the answer i was looking for! Some of it was rather technical but thats my lesson for today!
