I am soon to pull the trigger on a new phone and looking at the F008.

I want to be able to pick up e-mails and make calls.

Am, I looking at the best phone or should I look at the i9 which looks cheaper.

Sorry bit of a technofobe with phones. I've always had the work nokia and nothing else!!

Welcome to the forum!

The F008 is a great phone; WiFi, Java, Opera Mini Browser Pre-installed and has a TV function. It's narrower than the i9, and fatter too. If you want to pick up email, you can download a JAVA email client, or simply use the browser, for example with GMail.

The i9 doesn't have WiFi or TV, but does have Java.

So if you want a iPhone look-a-like (from a distance) choose the i9, or if WiFi is a requirement go for an F008.

The F008 is agreat phone and highly recommended - it's very fast indeed using a broadband WiFi connection
