problem with sound

Welcom to AFF firstly.

I allways tell people to reset the phone back to factory settings firstly.
So if you go into settings and factory settings put in the pin 1122. It will reboot, then check and see if it plays any of the preset songs that are in it.

Hi Annie, if all the settings sre correct and it is on a general profile, then there will be a software or speaker fault, and you should return it for a replacement or refund.

Before you do that can I ask if it plays any of the preset music in the music player?

It doesnt play any preset music,or any sounds what so ever. The only time it will play is when the headset is plugged in. It worked previously but when i plugged it into the computer it stopped and now i cant seem to do anything to get it back on, i have set up the general profile but nothing has worked

I bought the phone in Canada and im now back in the UK so no way I can return it. Also before I left Canada I was using an UK o2 sim card in the phone and it was working but as soon as I came back to the UK it said invalid sim

Sorry to say there is no settings fix for the phone, it has either a software fault or a speaker problem.

Als your invalid sim cannot be fixed unless it has new software in it.

Sorry to say Annie, the speaker sound like it has gone in the phone, if you need it to ring and need a new one give me a shout and I can point you in the right direction, as you need to get good quality to avaiod these things.

I don't retail them but can point you in the right places.

Sorry Annie no, you need a flash box which is a few hundred pounds and high speed flash cables to flash these and it is a really complecated procedure, wish it was easy and I could, sorry..:(
