How can i navigate to change date and time on mp4 player

Hello i have just purchased a new mp4 player and am impressed however iam unable to change the date and time second colums how do i navigate from the the hour to the minutes and from the days to months to years ?i have tried all buttons and just end up back at the menu?

I'm having the same problem - I can get to settings - change the month & hour but then cannot go to day or minutes - have tried all buttons but get taken back to sub menu - I have a '4gb ALL NEW 5TH GEN MP3/MP4 Player with video camera etc':confused:

Normally, pressing the "PLAY" button i.e. the bottom one on the wheel will tab you on to the next setting to change.

Once you have changed them all to the correct time, you need to hard set it in the players memory and this is usually accomplished by pressing the play button again although depending on the manufacturer of the player and the firmweare version, it may be one of the other buttons

Thank you but have since figured it out myself by fluke - by holding down the 'menu' button it tabs across BUT if you then turn the player off using the actual off switch the time does not stay live but stays at the time you turned it off!!!!!
